HC Deb 19 November 1931 vol 259 c1039W
Mr. PERKINS

asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that the traffic commissioner has ordered the suspension of the Red Omnibus service between Nympsfield and Stroud, and that the alternative route is 25 minutes longer and more expensive; and whether he will inquire into the reasons for this and the advisability of restoring the former service?

Mr. PYBUS

An appeal has been lodged with me under the provisions of the Road Traffic Act against the decision of the traffic commissioners in this case. In accordance with the usual practice, I have already arranged for an inquiry to be held.
