§ Sir H. BETTERTONUp to 9th November, 1931, the Bridgeton Court of Referees had considered, under the Anomalies Regulations, 1,053 cases, all of which related to married women, and benefit was disallowed in 878 cases.

§ Sir H. BETTERTONUp to 9th November, 1931, the Dumbarton Court of Referees had considered the cases of four men and 151 women under the Anomalies Regulations. In the case of three men and 142 women, benefit was disallowed. During the same period the Clydebank Court of Referees considered 278 cases, all of which related to women, and benefit was disallowed in 248 cases.
