§ Sir W. PRESTONasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air if he is aware that the United States of America and Belgium are developing methods of protecting their cities, by smoke screens, from air attack; and to what extent similar methods have been considered and adopted by the Air Ministry.
§ Mr. MONTAGUEI am aware that experiments of the kind referred to by the hon. Member have been made in other countries. Similar experiments have been conducted from time to time in this country, but it would not be in the public interest to give any detailed information regarding them.
