§ Miss BONDFIELDDuring the past five years, 31 scheme submitted by the Glasgow Corporation, of a total estimated cost of £552,000, have been ap-2216W proved for grant by the Unemployment Grants Committee. Twenty-eight schemes for works of new construction and improvement on classified roads of a total estimated cost of £672,000 have been approved for grant from the Road Fund. The amount of the grant varies according to the nature of the scheme.
