asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies if he can give a list of the schools of each kind in Sierra Leone for the latest available year, together with the numbers of children attending, distinguishing boys and girls, and the total number of children receiving education?

No figures are available for the year 1930, but the following figures refer to 1929:

Roman Catholic Mobe 49
(E) OTHER SCHOOLS.
Fourah Bay College—Boys 29
There are thus 158 schools with a total enrolment of 14,306 students.
