§ Dr. SHIELSThe prescribed minimum wage is $1 per month for mui-tsai under 15 years of age, and $1 50 cents for mui-tsai of 15 years and over, plus in all cases free food, clothing and medical attendance. The present sterling equivalent of those sums is about 1s. and 1s. 6d.
