HC Deb 14 May 1931 vol 252 c1387W
Mr. MIDDLETON

asked the Minister of Health whether he has considered the complaints made to him regarding the supply of coal in 1928 and 1929 to Park-side Mental Asylum, Cheshire; and, if so, what action he has taken to investigate the charges?

Mr. GREENWOOD

The matter to which my hon. Friend refers was not the subject of complaints to my Department, but I understand that an investigation was conducted on behalf of the County Mental Hospital Committee, and that as a result arrangements were made to obviate a recurrence of certain irregularities which had occurred.
