HC Deb 12 March 1931 vol 249 c1395W
Mr. MILLS

asked the Minister of Health how many local authorities have housing plans in prospect in the counties of Lancashire and Yorkshire, and the total number of houses contemplated within the next five years?

Mr. GREENWOOD

I assume my hon. Friend refers to the programmes which the larger local authorities are required by the Act of 1930 to submit. Sixty-seven programmes have been received from Lancashire and Yorkshire, and the total number of houses contemplated in the next five years by these local authorities is 92,957.
