§ Mr. W. GRAHAMI doubt if a general inquiry such as appears to be suggested in the question would lead to practical results. The question of the relation between wholesale and retail prices is rather one to be dealt with in respect of particular trades, and it is, indeed, one of the objects of the Consumers' Council Bill to facilitate such inquiries.
