asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury how many contracts have been executed by the Royal Mint during 1930 for Dominions, Colonial, and foreign countries, respectively; and the names of the countries for whom these contracts have been obtained and the value of these contracts?

The following coinages were executed at the Royal Mint during 1930 for Dominion, Colonial, and foreign Governments:

Cyprus—1 and ½ piastres (cupronickel).

Hejaz—1, ½and¼ real (silver);1, ½and¼ piastres (cupro-nickel).

Egypt—500, 100, 50 and 20 piastres (gold).

Greece—20 drach. and 10 drach. (silver); 5 drach. (nickel).

British West Africa— ½d. and 1/10d. (cupro-nickel).

Irish Free State (silver and bronze).

The value of the contracts, exclusive of bullion and alloys, was £45,499.
