§ Mr. MILLSasked the Minister of Health if He is aware that wooden hutments built in 1916 to be habitable for seven years are now being sold to private purchasers where possible and, where decontrolled, are being re-let at 25 per cent. above purchase price from His Majesty's Office of Works; and whether any steps are being taken in Welling, Woolwich, Greenwich or Dudley to include these worn-out temporary hutments in the Housing Act, 1930?
§ Miss LAWRENCEI am informed by my right hon. Friend the First Commissioner of Works that he has no knowledge of the matters referred to in the first part of the question. As regards the second part, my right hon. Friend the Minister is not aware of any declaration under Part I of the Housing Act, 1930, in respect of hutments of this kind in any of the four places named.
