§ Mr. CHARLETONForty-one outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease have been confirmed since 1st June; the names of the townships or localities in which these occurred are shown on the table appended; 1,500 cattle, 2,636 sheep, 173 pigs and one goat have been slaughtered in connection with these cases. The value of these animals was approximately £37,750.
