ADAMSONThe numbers of smallholders on estates belonging to the Department of Agriculture for Scotland in arrear with rent at 31st March, 1931, for one year, two years, three years, four years and five years or more, were 153, 51, 21,13 and 29, respectively. The numbers of smallholders—on privately owned estates as well as on the Department's properties—who have received loans for buildings and who were in arrear with payment of annuities at 31st March, 1931, for the same periods, were 125, 29, 17, 12 and 60, respectively.
