§ Mr. LEES-SMITHDuring the year ended 31st December, 1930, 2,840,000 children attending public elementary schools in England and Wales were inspected by school dentists. Of these, 1,975,000 were found to require treatment, and 63.4 per cent. of this latter number received treatment under arrangements made by the local education authorities.
