§ Mr. GILLETTThe report of the British Economic Mission to the Far East contained no recommendation with regard to the appointment of trade commissioners. If, however, the hon. and gallant Member refers to the appointment of specialists or experts, the Department, together with members of the Mission and trade organisations, is conferring with several industries with a view to the recommendation being given the fullest consideration.
