§ Mr. O. BALDWINasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in what 32W circumstances this country is bound by treaty to give military aid to any other country in case of attack; and to what extent any other country is similarly bound to this country?
Mr. A. HENDERSONI replied to a similar question put by my hon. Friend the Member for North Bristol (Mr. Ayles) on 10th July, 1929, and the position has not changed since that date. As regards the second part of the question, no country has undertaken any obligation to come to the assistance of this country apart from the obligations inherent in the Covenant of the League of Nations.
