§ Mr. HERBERT MORRISONI understand that contracts to an aggregate value of £18,200,000 for the construction of the grid system have already been entered into by the Central Electricity Board and that they have in addition authorised expenditure amounting to over £4,250,000 on the standardisation of frequency.
