§ Mr. FREEMANasked the Attorney-General whether any change is contemplated in the method of appointing magistrates and justices of the peace to secure the representation of all classes of the community?
§ The ATTORNEY-GENERALNo change is contemplated by my Noble Friend the Lord Chancellor in the method of appointing justices of the peace which is based upon the recommendations of the Royal Commission on the Selection and Appointment of Justices of the Peace. In making these appointments my Noble Friend endeavours to include men and women representative of all sections of the community.
