§ Mr. AMMONThe number of boy ratings of all branches of the Royal Navy who were invalided during the year ended 31st December, 1930, were:—
Boys … 44 E.R.A. apprentices … 4 Band boys … 3 Buglers (ages 15 and 17) … 2 53 The number in the same period invalided with tuberculosis was two (including one case of tubercular adenitis). The number invalided for heart complaints was 17 comprising 15 of organic heart disease, one of rheumatic myocarditis and one of tachycardia.
