HC Deb 12 February 1931 vol 248 cc627-8W
Brigadier-General CLIFTON BROWN

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether any maps showing the catchment areas in Sussex which include the River Arun and the River Mole have yet been prepared under the Land Drainage Act, 1930; if so, where those maps can be inspected; and whether the Thames catchment area map has yet been completed?

Dr. ADDISON

The map of the River Arun catchment area was placed on deposit for public inspection for a period of one month, as required by the Land Drainage Act, 1930, and has now been approved under seal. The River Mole is within the River Thames catchment area and the map of this area also has been on deposit but has not yet been approved, various objections being still under consideration. Copies of both maps may be inspected at the offices of the Ministry.
