HAMILTONasked the Home Secretary whether, in view of the recent decision of the High Court that it is illegal to serve alcoholic drinks to members of sports clubs in the club house between the hours of 2.30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sundays, he will consider introducing legislation to mitigate this hardship to the members of such clubs?
§ Mr. CLYNESI cannot hold out any hope of legislation affecting the permitted hours for drinking pending the report of the Royal Commission on Licensing.
