HC Deb 05 February 1931 vol 247 cc2134-5W
Mr. GROVES

asked the Minister of Pensions the reasons for the refusal of treatment allowances to F. S. Radford, 65, Welfare Road, West Ham; and whether he will review this case?

Mr. F. O. ROBERTS

The case has been reviewed. Mr. Radford is in receipt of a pension of 46s. weekly for tuberculosis, with a superannuation allowance from the Post Office in addition. He loses no earnings in consequence of his attendance at the tuberculosis dispensary. In these circumstances, he is ineligible for any additional allowance during such treatment.
