§ Mr. CLYNESThe amount of compensation paid in the whole of the mining industry in the last three years for which figures are available was as follows:—In 1927, £3,014,161; in 1928, £3,026,678; and in 1929, £3,049,826. I regret that the returns do not enable me to give separate figures for particular areas.
