§ Mr. LEES-SMITHNo, Sir. The improvements in the lighting at the Savings Bank Department, to which I referred in my reply to the hon. Member's question on 15th December last, have now been completed. The introduction of individual lighting would result in conditions more conducive to eye strain than the present system of general lighting, and would be a retrograde step.
