HC Deb 02 February 1931 vol 247 c1462W
Mr. MALONE

asked the Home Secretary whether, in view of the fact that a Russian white organisation, known as the Russian General Military Union, has a representative in Great Britain, that this organisation is of a military character and in hostility to the Soviet Government, and that this country is in normal diplomatic relations with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, he can make any statement on the matter?

Mr. CLYNES

I have seen a report in the press to the effect mentioned in the question. The individual to whom reference is made has been resident in this country for many years, and so far as I am aware he has not committed any offence against the, law, nor has he done anything of which I could take cognizance.
