HC Deb 02 February 1931 vol 247 cc1463-4W
Mr. WHITE

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the ambiguity of certain, expressions made use of in the Geneva Gas Protocol of 1925, referred to in the British Delegation's memorandum of 18th November last, steps have been taken by the Preparatory Commission for the Disarmament Conference to secure from other States which are signatories to the Protocol expressions of opinion as to its correct interpretation?

Mr. DALTON

Yes, Sir. At its recent session, the Preparatory Commission for the Disarmament Conference advised that careful study should be given by all the Governments concerned to the ambiguity in the Geneva Gas Protocol of 1925, to which the hon. Member refers.
