asked the Postmaster-General, if he will give returns showing the charges made under the cash-on-delivery system and the number of parcels sent under this system in the several years since the system was inaugurated?

The fees charged for collecting the value of an article sent by the inland cash-on-delivery service are as follow:—

The figures include packets sent by registered letter post, to which the service was extended on 30th April, 1928, but these comprise only a small proportion of the total.
