HC Deb 10 December 1931 vol 260 c2066W
Mr. A. RAMSAY

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that British export trade to Denmark, Finland, Austria, Hungary, Greece and Latvia is likely to cease forthwith owing to the fact that the nationals of these countries are refused permission to export currency in payment of trade debts; and whether His Majesty's representatives have been instructed to make representations to the several Governments for the protection of British interests in this matter?

Major COLVILLE

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given by my right hon. Friend on Tuesday last to questions by the hon. Members for Stroud (Mr. Perkins) and Southampton (Mr. Craven-Ellis).
