§ Mr. ISAAC FOOTAs I informed the hon. and gallant Member for the Isle of Wight (Captain P. Macdonald) on 1st December, I find opinion as to the effect of the Coal Mines Act, 1930, on industry and on the export trade much divided, and I am asking the organisations concerned for their views on the effect of the Act. I propose to take no further action until I have received and considered their replies.
