§ Mr. RUNCIMANDuring the 12 months ended 30th September, 1931, the total declared value of merchandise imported into the United Kingdom and consigned from the United States of America, was £114,000,000, while the total exports consigned to the United States amounted to £28,000,000. Both of these figures show 'a considerable decline compared with the previous 12 months.
