§ Dr. SHIELSMy Noble Friend has decided to appoint a Commission to inquire into the recent Carib disturbances and connected questions. The exact terms of reference are under consideration. The Commission will consist of the new Chief Justice of the Leeward Islands and Sir Sydney Armitage Smith of the Treasury, with power to co-opt locally such advisers with local experience as they may require.
