§ Mr. CLYNESI have no information on the point, nor any power to take any action. I believe it is matter of common knowledge that the brown squirrel is diminishing in numbers because it cannot compete with the grey squirrel, a foreign species which was imported some years ago, and I am afraid no law could protect it against this menace.
