§ Mr. FREEMANasked the Minister of Labour what action she has taken in view of the resolutions she has received from local authorities suggesting that they be made the responsible authorities for all unemployed persons in their area, and that all contributions for unemployed benefit be paid direct to such local authority with a view to employing persons at the standard rate of wage upon works of public importance?
