§ Mr. BOWENasked the Minister of Health what action has been taken by the Nantwich Rural District and Urban District Councils with a view to dealing with the sewage problem at Birchin Lane and Broad Lane, in the areas of these authorities, following the report of the department's inspector; and whether he can now give some indication of the date at which the necessary sewerage scheme will be completed?
§ Mr. GREENWOODI am informed that the urban district council are prepared to accept the sewage from these areas, and that the engineers of the two councils have agreed on definite recommendations for this purpose, which are shortly to be considered by a joint committee of the councils. I regret that I cannot at present indicate a date at which a scheme can be completed.
