§ Mr. VIANTMy attention has been called to the petition referred to by the hon. and gallant Member. The applicant in question was fully considered, but the premises offered for a sub-post office in884W the centre of the village were not considered suitable or adaptable for the purpose. I am satisfied that the best possible arrangements have been made for carrying on the post office services in the district.
