Mr. W. ADAMSONAs at 30th September, 1930—the latest date for which information is available—grants had been promised by local authorities in Scotland under the provisions of the Housing (Rural Workers) Act, 1926, amounting to £530,264 16s. 8d. Of this sum £295,239 4s. 4d. had been paid at that date.
