§ Sir C. TREVELYANThe average number of students admitted to training colleges and university training departments in each of the four years, 1925 to 1928, was 7,809 (2,201 men and 5,608 women). The admissions of students of all types in 1929 and 1930 exceeded this average by the following numbers:
