§ Major GLYNasked the Secretary for Scotland what is the estimated annual output of bricks in Scotland; what proportion of this output is available for housing; and how many brick houses this would allow to be constructed in one year?
Mr. MUNROI am advised that the present estimated annual output of bricks in Scotland is one hundred and thirty millions. Of these sixty millions are available for housing. This quantity is sufficient to build 3000 houses in a year.
