§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAasked the Minister of Health whether the stone-breaking and stone-shifting work imposed on men at Prince Rock is considered by his Department to be useful and appropriate work for the men concerned?
§ Mr. GREENWOODIt is difficult to express an opinion on the possibilities of the work at the dumps at Prince Rock because there was so serious a lack of supervision and planning. As the scheme was actually run, I should myself consider that men were engaged on work which was not useful or appropriate.
