§ Mr. HERBERT MORRISONFour applications for financial assistance have been submitted to the Committees appointed under the Development (Loan Guarantees and Grants) Act, 1929, and referred to my Department for examination. One such application has been rejected 1147W by the appropriate Committee; an offer of assistance has been made in respect of another; and the remaining two applications are under consideration by the Committees.
