HC Deb 07 May 1930 vol 238 c977W
Captain CAZALET

asked the Minister of Transport whether any special regulations have been issued by his Ministry in regard to the planting of trees along the London-Folkestone main road; and whether it is proposed to take any action to see that the local authorities attend to the planting of such trees?

Mr. HERBERT MORRISON

No special regulations have been issued by the Ministry, but the cost of planting and maintaining trees on classified roads is assisted by grants from the Road Fund. I understand that the Kent County Council are considering the question of planting additional trees along the London-Folkestone road.
