§ Mr. CLYNESThe number of cases reported to the Metropolitan Police was 2,123. The damage amounted to 377W £1,380 15s. 6d. Eleven arrests have been made. Of these, six resulted in conviction, three persons were found to be mentally deficient, and two were discharged. In one other case the offender was a boy of 13 and the owner declined to prosecute.
