§ Mr. GREENWOODFrom January, 1929, to January, 1930, the average number of persons in receipt of outdoor Poor Law relief decreased from 902,840 to 870,428, the lowest average number (807,812) during that period being recorded in September, 1929. Corresponding particulars for February, 1930, are not yet available.
