§ Colonel CLIFTON BROWNasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that, at a meeting of the Northumberland County Council held on 2nd May, 1929, it was announced by the chairman that an agreement with regard to the freeing of Wylam bridge, Northumberland, had been ratified and that the Ministry of Transport had agreed as to a grant-in-aid; and if he will now make representations to the proper authorities to hasten the completion of this work?
§ Mr. HERBERT MORRISONI am not aware of the announcement referred to in the first part of the question, but, as I informed the hon. Member on 12th March, a grant has already been offered from the Road Fund and I am awaiting the formal application from the County Council.
