§ Mr. G. HALLI regret that it is not in the public interest to furnish in detail the information asked for. All purchases were from British registered companies, but if the hon. Member wishes to know how far the actual producers were firms in which British capital is predominant, I may state that the proportion produced by firms in which British capital predominates was 86 per cent. in 1928 and 93 per cent. in 1929.
