Mr. THOMASSince 1st June, 1929, applications have been submitted by the Wolverhampton Town Council to the Unemployment Grants Committee in respect of works estimated to cost £89,550, and to provide work for 255 men. The Unemployment Grants Committee have approved grants in respect of six schemes estimated to cost £78,550 and to provide work for 205 men.
