Mr. R. S. YOUNGasked the Minister of Transport if he will recommend the opening of an underground station, either at Brecknock Road or the Nag's Head, N., in order to give improved transport facilities to a large population in those districts, which now depends solely on omnibuses?

The London Electric Railway Company inform me that neither of the points to which be refers is in an area of such heavy traffic as would, in their opinion, warrant the construction of a new railway.
