§ Mr. BENNThe total number of trade disputes in British India during 1929 was 141. During the present year I have received reports of 36, but some disputes of minor importance may not have been included in these reports. I have heard of the appointment of one court of inquiry and two boards of conciliation, but do not know whether there have been others.
