BROWNasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has received from the General Federation of Jewish labour representations that the evidence tendered to the Commission on the Palestine Disturbances by the chief immigration officer, to the effect that immigration certificates under the labour schedule are supplied in blank to the General Federation of Jewish Labour, is incorrect; and what steps he proposes to take in regard to these representations?
§ Dr. SHIELSYes, Sir. The High Commissioner has forwarded a copy of a letter to him from the executive committee of the General Federation of Jewish Labour containing representations on this subject. The matter is being inquired into.
