§ Mr. GREENWOODLocal authorities already have powers under the Public Health Acts as regards boats which ply for hire. I have not received any general request from local authorities for further powers, nor apparently have applications been made to Parliament for increased powers in local Bills. I shall be prepared to consider the matter, in consultation with my right hon. Friend, the President of the Board of Trade, if any general representations are made to me.
